Sarajevo sunsets

  1. Great post with fantastic photos! What camera/lens do you use? Great to hear that you reached the bobsleigh tracks. I was in Sarajevo at the start of March and we also tried to access them. I believe that we took the wrong route (one straight from the city rather than around), and when the road suddenly turned into a tiny dirt path, we had to call it off since we didn’t have the right kind of car for that. I definitely hope to go back to Sarajevo again though and see them!

    1. Thanks so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it! I use a Canon Mark II with a 50mm 1.4 lens and also 24-70mm lens but it’s bulky so I often just take the 50mm out. Ah did you enjoy Sarajevo? I was born there but left at an early age so I feel like a tourist when I visit! It’s fairly tricky to navigate, I think they do have tours in case you go again šŸ™‚

      1. I really enjoyed spending time in the city. There was a lot to learn and a lot to see. The food was absolutely amazing too – I loved burek. And thank you for the tip! The city can be difficult to navigate – our GPS gave us routes that led to dead ends countless times.

  2. Glad to hear you had such a positive experience! I can totally see that, thankfully I have family there so got driven around a lot, but it would be much harder to navigate on your own.
