Some photos from my week long trip to the beautiful island of Mljet in Croatia. With only around 1000 people living here and surrounded by mostly protected national park this is the most peaceful and unspoilt part of Croatia I’ve visited. We stayed in a small bay and took day trips to various places, the highlights being the large national park itself which contains two saltwater lakes and even a monastery on an island within the lake, which is perfect for cycling around. Another place worth seeing is the Odysseus Cave which as the name suggests has a cave you can swim in and the cleanest water. A true gem of a place which remains somewhat off the radar in this part of the world.
